"I believe that all power comes from within, from the source. Not from within you as an individual being, but from your spirit that is connected to the center of the universe. All the power in your life comes through you. There is nothing outside of us that has any power over us."
Mana is one of the principles of life through the Hawaiian philosophy. It refers to the fact that all power comes from within. From the source. Not from within you as an individual being, but from your spirit that is connected to the centre of the universe. Everything and everyone has power and we influence eachother. That is the purpose of increasing mana, which actually means "influence". When your soul can inspire another soul, that is called mana. Also when your belief in something is so strong that you can persuade others to join a positive cause, that’s called mana. And when your heart is pure and others can see that your intentions are pure, that is mana.
“LanaKakou I ka Hau’oli o ha'I” - We rise by uplifting each other.
Our own mana is something we can work on growing and achieving every single moment. In today’s society it can happen that you feel powerless, but remember that you have a power within you that no one can take away. We are used to run our lives on the auto pilot. And now and again we forget ourselves for being focussed on the outer world, instead of our inner world. Some people will call it “I am in my head”. Everyone also carries old wounds with them, emotions such as grief or pain that affect our lives but where we do not immediately know the cause. And we are all consciously or unconsciously lived by programming from childhood or earlier in life.
There will be a moment that you feel disbalance or you experience physical complaints. You don’t feel right, you experience restlessness, or physical reactions like backpain, migraine, depression, fear, burn-out or lethargy. Or maybe your heart is closed off, because of painful experiences from the past. Or that hampering thoughts keep you from a true connection with your being. Also specific events or upbringing and how you value your life at the moment, can keep you from progressing and growth. All these things can trigger your survival mechanism, the flight or fight, which serves the purpose to keep you going and cope with the situation.
Complaints and blockages can be healed when you consciously look at yourself. By doing so you acknowledge your own emotions and yourself. In this way you get back in touch with your inner strength. The result is that you are mentally and physically strong and energetic in life.

During my sessions and workshops I work from a holistic vision. This means that I see the human being as a physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual whole, which are inseparably linked to each other. If disturbance occurs in one or more of these areas, it will also affect other areas. This can give a feeling of imbalance or lead to complaints. Often the cause of the complaint is not immediately identifiable. It may be that physical symptoms are an expression of unprocessed experiences.
I guide you in reclaiming the connection to your body and senses. I support you by creating a loving and safe space where you can (re)connect to your own power and essence. I welcome everything and all that you are. I'll guide you with an open heart in your journey so you can connect more deeply with yourself and your body. We welcome the rejected parts in you to be expressed in a compassionate and loving way. I help you to integrate fear, numbness, pain, shame or guilt so that you can experience more selflove, love for others and your life, fulfilling intimacy and lifeforce energy.
